Aiden's 12 Month Check-Up

Well we had the dreaded 12 month check up this morning at 9:30, Josh and I took him. He started crying before they even tried to examine him, he has been to the Dr his share already between sickness and check-ups so I guess he knows what was fixing to happen! Today they had to prick his finger to check to see if he is anemic and to check the amount of lead in his little body, we will know in a few days about the lead, but he is not anemic. Also he had to get 5 immunizations, but he just got 4 sticks in both little legs. Of course he cried and cried, but as soon as I picked him up all was well! He weighs a whole 20 lbs 15oz, so he is almost 21lbs! He is 30 3/4 inches long, she said he is still right on track for how he has been growing, I told her I was concerned because people keep saying he is little and she said to tell them he is the perfect size, she said she would rather be talking to me about what he needs to be eating instead of talking about putting him on a diet, which she says she does have to do that at some of her 1 year check ups, but I don't think Aiden has that to worry about for now!! LOL Well his next appt is scheduled for Novemeber for his 15 month check up and no shots!!!! I am so glad, she said he want get anymore shots until he is 4 unless he gets the flu shot which we will proabably do. She re-checked his ears and said they are looking better, so that is also a good thing. Well I am glad this is behind us, now each visit want be so bad!!! On another note Aiden is walking all over the place, he still wobbles, but I think it is so cute and I love to watch him!!!
