Carlie's 1 month check up!

Took Carlie today for her 1 month check up and she is definitely growing!!! She was 9lbs 4 ounces 2 weeks ago and today she was 10lbs 8 ounces and 22 inches long, remember she was 8lbs 14.5 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long when she was born, Dr Wilson said she was in the 90th percentile! WOW!! Aiden was always in the very bottom percentile, so this is a big change. We have been concerned since birth about her clavicle being broken since her shoulders were stuck during delivery, and we questioned everybody about it as to whether it was broken or not and everybody said it was fine. Today was the first time we got to see the Dr we have been wanting to see and we ask him about it and he said sure enough it was broken and it was a pretty back break, but he could tell it was healing. That kind of made me a little upset considering we had questioned so many people about it before. That may explain why she was really fussy the first few weeks, I know there is nothing that can be done for a broken clavicle, but I wish we would have known so we may could have been a little easier with her, not that we were rough, but we could have been more gentle. I can't believe she is growing so fast, my baby want be a baby for long, which is sad, but it is so good that she is growing good. One thing I thought was funny was that the Dr said I sure didn't have skim milk, I had the real stuff! LOL We were going to get her some medicine for acid reflux, but we are going to try and cut back her feedings to see if that helps with his spitting up, and if not we will try the medicine. Carlie is doing better at home not as fussy and more pleasent, she does really good at night, we lay her down between 10:30 pm and 11pm and she will sleep for about 3 1/2- 4 hours, which is pretty good and I will feed her and she goes back to sleep for about 2 more hours after she gets done eating! She is so alert and wide eyed and stays awake often. She is starting to smile and coo. She is such a joy to our family and Aiden loves her so much and he is so easy with her and loves to kiss her all the time, he loves to talk to her and she loves to listen. Carlie goes back on April 20th for her 2 month check up and her first shots. More updates to come.
