AIDENS FIRST CHRISTMAS

We had a very good Christmas but a very busy Christmas. Josh had to work nights on Christmas Eve, but he was off Christmas Day but he was so tired because he got home at 6am and didn't go to sleep. Anyways this is how Christmas went this year! Christmas Eve we started by going to my mom and dads house to open gifts with my immediate family and we ate lunch. We invited my dads parents also and they seemed to have a good time, they just adore Aiden. We stayed there for a little while and then it was off to Southmont to Josh's moms side of the family, well of course we eat again and then all the kids open there gifts and the tree was full of kid gifts because this year we decided to just buy for the kids, usually we draw names. We stayed there for a little while and Josh stayed and watched Aiden open his gifts until he had to check on for work. After we opened gifts there we had to leave and go to my moms side, we get there in time to exchange name gifts, they usually eat before we get there, and there was no way I could have ate one more thing that day! So Christmas Eve has now came to an end and I must get Aiden home and to bed before Santa arrives!!

Christmas Day starts off with a delicious breakfast up at my grandmothers house, she makes it all! Bacon, Sasuage, Ham, grits, gravy, biscuits, eggs, and toast! I am sure I left something out, but you get the idea! After we finish up eating there we head back to Southmont and open gifts with Josh's immediate family. I will have to add that I will be going to eat Japanese soon because I got a gift card to Kubuto in Greensboro which is my favorite!!! I will also be doing some shopping at Kohls with my gift card and I will also be playing around alot on the computer with my PrintShop Pro Publisher Deluxe!! Josh and his brother got a remote control airplane, they are still little kids! Well Josh had to play with it as soon as he got it and he ended up flying it into a tree and it got stuck!! LOL I thought that was to funny. Well anyways after we finish up family time there we head next door to his moms side again, which is over at his grandparents house and we have lunch and by this time I don't want to see anymore food! The guys are outside shooting guns before lunch, who would have known!! Well after lunch there we sit back a relax a little while until we have to venture on to another location. Next its off to Josh's dads side which is at his grandparents house too, we get there and exchange our name gifts and let all the kids open there stuff and then afterwards eat supper, but of course we don't get to eat (which is ok) because we have to head to one more place, yes I said one more place!! We end up back at my grandmothers for a game of dirty Santa with everybody and there brother! So if you got lost reading this don't feel bad because I get lost each year trying to figure out when and where we go for Christmas and how we are going to fit everything in. At least all of the family is close in distance to each other or we would not be able to fit everything in.

Well Aiden got some pretty cool things, he got lots of fun toys, clothes, money, diapers high chair, he got his first savings bond from my cousin which I thought was really neat, she said she thought he would get so many toys and stuff she wanted to do something different. He also got his Lifetime Sportsman Hunting License!!! How neat is that. He got that from my parents and Josh's parents. Hopefully he will like to hunt and fish! Well as you can tell Aiden had a good first Christmas, it's hard to believe that next year he will be running around getting into everything, I can't wait though, again we will have so much fun and also get to enjoy spending time with family and friends at such a special time of the year. Jesus's Birthday! He is the real reason for the season and we need not to forget that as we get carried away with all the gifts, they are nice but we need to remember the true meaning of Christmas! I hope each and everybody that reads this had a very Merry Christmas and hopefully will have a Happy New Year!

Also on a different not I haven't updated on Aiden lately. He has started baby food and he loves carrots and sweet potatoes! He wasn't sure about applesauce at first but I think he is liking it better. He just flat out don't like peas! He is growing way to fast he can now hold his own bottle and he is almost able to sit up by himself!

Sorry this is so long but it has been a while since I updated!
