Taking It All In!

Aiden is now a little over 8 months old, I just can't stand how fast he is growing and changing. He is still working on his first tooth, it is now thru the gum and it is so sharp, you can't see it that good yet, but it want be long. He has now started giving kisses. Monday night he started giving my mom kisses and she just loved it, and he kept doing it probably because we were making a big deal out of it and clapping and saying yeah when he did it. It was the cutest thing. He is rolling all over the place, still not crawling, but trust me he can get to whatever he wants with no problem, so who knows if he will crawl or not, I guess we will have to wait and see. He is really trying hard to pull up and he gets a little frustrated when he can't. He loves going outside, we go out and I ride him around in his stroller, he loves looking all around and taking it all in. I sat him down in the grass to take some pics the other day and he just looked at the grass and reached out to touch it very slowly and gently, I don't think he could figure it out. He then started looking up at the sky. Last year he was tiny when it was warm outside so he didn't get to enjoy it, but now he is observing everything and seeing what the world is all about. You can't hardly get him to sit down either he loves to stand and he bounces up and down like he is doing a little dance. I am looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy some more time outside.

Aidens Getting A Tooth!

Well Aiden is slowly but surely getting better from the Flu, he still has an awful cough and runny nose, but other than that he is back to his smiley self! Thank goodness because he was so pitiful!! Now on a good note or not so good however you want to look at it, Aiden is getting a tooth, finally. I can feel it, but I can't see it yet, but in a few days I bet it will be shining! He is going to be so cute when he smiles and shows off his first tooth. I will keep you updated on when it start to show and of course I will ave to get the camera out!! LOL The bad thing about this teething thing is he is waking up about three times during the night. I have been keeping Orajel on his gums which seems to be helping, but it seems to wear off pretty fast. We have also been giving him Motrin which seems to help more than Tylenol.

Its hard to believe Aiden will be 8 months on the 14th, he loves to clap his hands, and he now opens his hands instead of has them balled up in a fist when he claps, it is so cute. He loves to be the center of attention if you are not paying him any attention he will usually make sure he gets it one way or another. He loves to grab anything and everything in site. Also found out that he likes Gatorade, when he was sick thats what the Dr recommended giving him since he was spitting up his milk and he seemed to love it, he doesn't like it really cold though. Also just when we think we are playing catch up with his weight we ended up loosing about 9 oz when he had the Flu, but we are working on gaining it back. Well until he get his tooth showing I guess this is all for now!
