Aidens 2 month check up

Well today Aiden had his 2 month check up and he had to get his first shots, he only had to get 3, thank goodness, somebody had told me he would have to get 5, but some of the medicine is combined. He did really good with them he didn't scream to bad, he did at first he turned beet red and then after the first shot it went fast. It bothered me worse than it bothered him. The Dr said he was still a little small for his age but he is probably playing catch up because he was smaller when he was born. He weighed 10 lbs 12 oz and he was 23 1/25 inches long. I just knew he weighed more than that, but oh well he eats good so they said not to worry. He goes back November 20th for his second round of shots. Hopefully he will sleep good tonight and not run a fever.

Dreaded First Day of Work!

So anyways even though I am not full time I still wasn't looking forward to going back to work. First things first last night I had to find my scrubs that I had put away, I needed to see if they would fit, well they fit just a little more snug than I would have liked, I have got to purchase a few more if I am going to continue to work!! Well then Aiden decides he wants to finally go to sleep around 12am and then wake at 3am to eat, I get up with him like always because daddy don't hear him cry! Yeah right!! Well Josh then got up like a good husband! LOL I went back to bed because I was going to have to get up early and be at work at 7am, well I set my alarm for 5:30 so I could get up and going, but it went off a couple of times and I pushed snooze, and then it went off the third time and Josh told me to turn it off so we wouldn't wake Aiden, well I turned it off!! LOL Josh woke up at 7am and seen that I was still laying there beside him, ok I was suppose to be at work by now. It was horrible I didn't even get a shower, it was either shower or pump, and I decided to pump or I would have been miserable. I clocked in at 7:33am which I thought was good considering I woke up at 7am! I finally got to work and everybody was glad to see me and of course I had pictures of Aiden so I had to show those off! Well thank goodness I only had to work 4 hours, I got off at 11am and went home to see my precious baby boy after I left him with his daddy for 4 whole hours by himself!! LOL They slept the whole time I was at work, Aiden decided to go back to sleep so Josh thought that would be a good idea too. Well that was my back to work disaster, hopefully it will get better.

What a busy weekend!

Well this past weekend was really busy for the three of us! Friday night we had a wedding to go to, Josh had to work night shift so Aiden and I went with Joshs mom and dad, it was Aidens first wedding and boy did he get a lot of attention. Saturday we had our family reunion (Smith Family Reunion) at Lake Norman, my great aunt lives there and again Aiden got passed around from person to person he was wore out, Josh did get to go with us to that, he asked off! Sunday we went to Andrews 2 year birthday party, Andrew is my brothers step son. Josh again was on night shift but he did get to stop by and get a hamburger and some Thomas the Train cake! Well that was our weekend, pretty busy and next weekend seems like it is going to be the same.
