Aiden has grown!

We went for Aiden's 2 wk checkup on Friday July 28th. Aiden now weighs 7 lbs and he is 20 3/4 inches. The Dr said he is gaining weight like he should and he seems really healthy and looks good. Aiden's belly button hadn't fell off by his Drs appt so Dr Loda helped it a little bit and we can now give him his first real bath, we plan on doing that tomorrow! I hope he will like a bath. The next Drs appt will be for his 2 month checkup and he will be getting shots, I am not looking forward to that one. Overall Aiden is doing wonderful and mommy and daddy could not be happier.

Congratulations to a friend of mine named Amy she found out she will be expecting a new baby! My wish for her is that she has a happy and healthy 9 months! Congratulations again to the whole family, she has another child, a little boy named Adam and I am sure he will make a great big brother.

SO IN LOVE!

I just wanted to update everybody on the birth of our new son. We didn't make it back to the Dr on Monday to talk about induction, little Aiden decided he wanted to come on his own! I went into labor Thursday night and into the morning Friday, when Josh got home from work we went to the Hospital and I was already 4 cm and 100% effaced so I wasn't going anywhere. I ended up having Aiden at 2:52 pm on July 14th 2006, he was a healthy 6lbs 6oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He is so precious and I am so in love with him, I could just sit and stare at him all day I can't get enough of him! He is such a good baby and we are adjusting well. Aiden has a little bit of jaundice which seems to be getting better. He goes for his first Drs appt on Wednesday July 19th to see how he is growing! Well thats all for now I just wanted to let everybody know that Aiden had made his arrival and he is perfect!

Update From Drs appt from Wednesday July 12,2006

So I had yet another appt this past Wednesday and I was still 1 cm and 80% effaced, and had been for a week. Dr Niner wants me to come back in on Monday morning at 8:45 and we are going to talk about when we are going to have my little guy! I told Dr Niner I wanted him to deliver so I think we are going to pick a day next week when he can do it, I am due Friday anyway, so I would be fine with getting to see Baby Aiden a couple days early! I will update again on Monday when I find out anything new. Who knows maybe something will happen over the weekend and we will have baby. I'm not getting my hopes us just yet.
